Solar Bears Trade Myles Harvey to Wheeling

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that they have traded defenseman Myles Harvey to the Wheeling Nailers in exchange for future considerations.

Harvey appeared in one game with the Solar Bears this season. He played the last four seasons (2009-13) for Providence College (NCAA). His best statistical season came in 2011-12, where he notched 17 points on seven goals and 10 assists. Harvey appeared in 124 games during his four-year collegiate career, finishing with eight goals and 24 assists for 32 points.

Solar Bears Thanksgiving Day Game:

The Orlando Solar Bears are continuing a tradition from their IHL days this season, hosting the Greenville Road Warriors for a special 6:00 p.m. contest on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28. Orlando will wear vintage jerseys during the game and there will be a Michael Jackson tribute performance.
