The Solar Bears return to home ice tonight to begin a six game home stand that starts with two games against the Greenville Road Warriors. Orlando is coming off a three-game series against the Florida Everblades that saw the Solar Bears take the first two contests by identical 2-1 scores before dropping the final game of the series. The Solar Bears have won eight of their last 11 contests, including four straight victories on home ice. Greenville has also been playing well lately, winning three of their last four contests and earning at least one point in five of their last six games. The Road Warriors fell 3-2 to the South Carolina Stingrays in their last outing to snap a three game winning streak that saw Greenville win back-to-back games by a 2-1 score before taking a 3-0 shutout victory over the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Solar Bears went 3-2-0-3 against Greenville last season which included a 2-0-0-3 record at home.
Blake Kessel Returned from Rockford:
Solar Bears defenseman Blake Kessel has been returned to Orlando from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Kessel has played two games for the Solar Bears this year, helping them earn back-to-back wins over the Toledo Walleye on November 10 and 11. In those two contests, Kessel registered one goal and three assists for four points. He finished second in points among ECHL defensemen last season, notching 41 points in 54 games for the Trenton Titans.

F Tyler Murovich is one point away from his 100th ECHL point... Forwards C.J. Severyn and Ian Slater are tied for second in the ECHL in PIM with 64 each... D Bryce Aneloski is tied for second among rookies with a +9 rating... Orlando has scored the first goal of the game in each of their eight home games this season... The Solar Bears have played 11 of their 17 games against teams from the South Division... F Mike Ullrich was returned to the Solar Bears from the Manchester Monarchs (AHL) yesterday. He scored one goal in three games with Manchester and has 14 points in 14 games with the Solar Bears this season... D Dylan Yeo was assigned to Orlando by the Toronto Marlies yesterday. He was the ECHL Defenseman of the Year in 2008-09... G John Curry remains in the AHL with the Iowa Wild... G Christopher Gibson remains in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies. He earned his first AHL win on Sunday against San Antonio... F Kory Nagy remains in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies. He has earned one assist in four games.

C Andrew Rowe is third in the ECHL with a +13 rating... G Jeff Malcolm is fifth in the ECHL with a 1.96 GAA. Malcolm and G Connor Knapp are second and third in the ECHL in save percentage. Malcolm has a .940 save percentage while Knapp has a .938 save percentage... RW Brandon Hynes is tied for ninth among rookies with 11 points... RW Brandon Hynes leads the Road Warriors in points (11) and assists (6). He is tied with LW Jordie Johnston with five goals... Greenville is 15th on the power play at 10.9% (6-for-55) and 1st on the penalty kill at 92.1% (70-for-76).
