The Beloit Snappers are back from the road and ready for an exciting and fun-filled eight game homestand. Beginning Friday, July 29 at 7:00pm, the Snappers will take on the Clinton LumberKings Friday night in game one of a four game series. Friday is also Game Show Night with a Fireworks Show sponsored by Edward Jones Investments to end the evening. On Friday all of the Snapper's on-field promotions will be turned into our version of popular game shows, and the sky will be lit up with a fantastic fireworks display following the game. Make the Snappers your final answer for family fun and come out to Pohlman Field to enjoy a game! Be sure to get a 2 for 1 ticket coupon from the Community Shoppers.
Saturday night the Snappers take on the Clinton LumberKings in game two of the four game set with game time at 7:00pm. Fans are encouraged to dust off their tap shoes and practice their favorite celebrity impression because Saturday is Useless Talent Night at Pohlman Field! All fans interested in showing off their talent should contact Jeremy Neuman at the Snappers office to sign up to show off their talent. You must sign up in advance in order to perform. Saturday is also Woodman's Macaroni Noisemaker Night; all fans who bring a box of macaroni and cheese to the game on Saturday night will receive $1 off their admission price. Fans who stop by Woodman's Market for a box of Shur Fine brand macaroni and cheese will be eligible to enter a season long drawing for a Snappers prize package. All macaroni and cheese will be collected at the end of the night to be donated to the Beloit Salvation Army Food Bank. The fun doesn't end when the game is over on Saturday night; stick around after the game as the Snappers put on another brilliant fireworks display!
Snappers action continues with a day game Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. Before the Snappers take on the Clinton LumberKings in game three of the four game series, fans can pick up their free bobblehead doll! The first 500 fans through the gates of Pohlman Field will receive a bobblehead doll of former Snappers player and Wisconsin native Vinny Rottino sponsored by WQRF FOX 39 and WTVO Channel 17! Sunday is also Kids Eat Free Day, and all kids will receive a voucher for a free hot dog and soda with the purchase of a regular priced child's ticket.
The Clinton series wraps up on Monday, August 1 at 7:00pm with our fourth All-You-Can-Eat Night! Tickets for Monday's games are $12 for adults and $10 for kids. Ticket prices include admission price and allows fans to all the popcorn, peanuts, hotdogs, pizza, hamburgers they can eat, and all the fountain Pepsi they can drink! Monday night is also Must Win Miller Monday, and 12oz Miller Lite, MGD, and MGD Light drafts are just 99 cents! And if the Snappers don't win on Monday night all fans in attendance will receive a voucher good for a free General Admission ticket to the Snappers game on Wednesday, August 3!
On Tuesday, August 2, the Snappers start their four-game series against the West Michigan Whitecaps at 7:00pm. Tuesday is College and Dollar Night at Pohlman Field, and all college students who show a valid college ID can purchase their ticket for just $1! Fans can also purchase hotdogs, Pepsi products, and 12 ounce Leinenkugal drafts for just $1 all night!
Wednesday is also the first day of the Snappers Pitching and Throwing Camp for kids ages 7-14. The camp runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm Wednesday and Thursday and the cost is $40. All kids will receive a camp T-shirt, hotdog, chips, and soda for lunch, and will be instructed by Snappers coaches and players. Call the Snappers today to sign up for the two-day Pitching and Throwing Camp!
The Snappers take the field for game two against the Whitecaps on Wednesday night at 7:00pm. Wednesday is Wet Your Whistle Night at Pohlman Field. Fans can enjoy 16 ounce plastic bottles of Miller Lite and MGD for just $2.75!
Thursday, August 4, the Snappers and diSicilian of Beloit turn Pohlman Field's "On Deck" area into Little Italy for the Snappers Deck Party. The Deck Party is catered and sponsored by diSicilian and runs from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, and tickets can be purchased for $30; contact the Snappers for more information. Thursday is also Twin Bargain Thursday and two box tickets can be purchased for the price of one! All night 12 ounce Leinenkugal's are just $2, and fans who purchase specified items at the concession stands can get the second for just 75 cents!
The Snappers end their eight game homestand with a bang on Friday, August 5th at 7:00pm against the West Michigan Whitecaps. Friday the Principal Family Fun Fest will invade the area surrounding Pohlman Field, providing fans with a free attraction from 4:00 until game time. Kids can come out and enjoy the inflatable attractions that will be set up at the field on Friday night! And everyone can stick around after the game for another fantastic Snappers fireworks show!
