Smyth First Team Right-Wing, Fata Second Team Right-Wing

Hartford, March 29, 2002 - Hartford Wolf Pack forwards Brad Smyth and Rico Fata were named to the 2001-02 American Hockey League All-Star teams, released today by the AHL.

Smyth, who enters this weekend's action tied for the league lead in points (33-45-78 in 74 GP), earned First-Team honors at right wing. The Wolf Pack swept the starboard side, as Fata was named the Second-Team right-winger. Fata is tied for second in the AHL in plus/minus, at +27, and ranks 10th in the league in scoring, at 34-34-68 in 55 games.

The Wolf Pack and Manitoba Moose play a two-game series at the Hartford Civic Center tonight and tomorrow evening (both 7:05 PM faceoffs).
