Grand Rapids Griffins News Release
First Two Home Games During 2002 Calder Cup Playoffs Now Available
Grand Rapids, MI - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Saturday announced that tickets for the team's first two home games during the 2002 Calder Cup playoffs are now on sale. The exact dates are yet to be determined, but depending on how they fare in their final five regular season games, the Griffins will play their first playoff game at Van Andel Arena sometime between April 10-17.
Single-game tickets for Griffins playoff games are the same price as regular season contests: $25, $20, $16, $12, $10 and $5 (advance purchase only). Playoff tickets may be purchased at The Zone and all Tickets PLUS outlets, including Meijer stores, and are available by calling (616) 222-4000 or by visiting www.griffinshockey.com.
Single-game tickets for additional home playoff games will be placed on sale as warranted. However, fans wishing to witness the Griffins' entire playoff run may choose from two different playoff packages, each of which offers discounted ticket prices.
A "standard package" offers tickets to all 15 possible home playoff games, while a "flex pack" contains 10 coupons that are redeemable in any combination for tickets to any 2002 playoff contests at Van Andel Arena.
Depending on their desired seating location, fans can save up to two dollars per ticket off the single-game playoff ticket price. Standard packages and flex packs are available by calling the Griffins at (616) 774-4585.
