Grand Rapids, MI - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Friday announced that their final home game of the 2001-02 regular season, on Saturday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. against the Rochester Americans, is a sellout (10,834).

This marks the second consecutive year, and the fourth time in the franchise's six seasons, that the Griffins have sold out their final regular season home game. The sellout is Grand Rapids' 93rd all-time.

As a result, the Griffins will finish their first AHL campaign with an average home attendance of 7,047, placing them seventh out of 27 AHL teams and eighth out of 94 minor league hockey teams.

For those unable to attend tomorrow's game, it will be televised live on WXSP-TV and broadcast live on WOOD 1300 AM and WHTC 1450 AM.
