Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Goldeyes have once again partnered with Shaw TV to broadcast 20 home games this season.

The broadcasts, which will be aired on Shaw TV in Manitoba and Shaw Direct across Canada, begin with the first three games of the season tonight, tomorrow and Thursday.

"Shaw TV does a great job of producing a big league broadcast of our games," Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier said. "We are proud to partner with them and offer our fans a great way to follow the team when they are not at Shaw Park."

Long-time Winnipeg sports media personality Scott Taylor will once again handle the play-by-play duties. He will be joined this year by Shawn Coates, who called sports on Shaw TV before moving on to work for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Canadian Football League and University of Winnipeg. Also new to the broadcast team is Shaw TV sports reporter Mitchell Clinton, who will serve as the host for the broadcasts.
