Lincoln, NE - Lemurs pitcher starting pitcher Matt Way (1-1) and Saltdogs pitcher Ryan Sheldon (2-0) both pitched great, but it's Sheldon that comes away with the 4-0 victory for the Saltdogs as he threw seven complete, given up only five hits, and striking out seven.

Matt Way threw well for the Lemurs going six and a third, giving up four runs, on eight hits, with 10 strikeouts. Way was around the plate all night but the Saltdogs were able to peace hits together to help them get on the board.

In the fourth the Saltdogs Asif Shah reached on a single and Brad Payne followed that up with a triple off the wall in right centerfield to bring home Shah to make it 1-0 Saltdogs.

The Saltdogs would score two more times in the sixth with Leivi Ventura's double to start the inning and a homerun by John Alonso, his league leading fifth of the season, to bring Ventura home to make the score 3-0 in favor of the Saltdogs. The Saltdogs would score once more in the seventh for a 4-0 lead.
