The Sky Sox (69-61) loaded the bases in the top of the second inning, but Dodgers starting pitcher Brock Stewart got Colorado Springs pitcher Houser to strike out and Nate Orf to fly out to keep the game in a scoreless tie.

The Sky Sox then got on the scoreboard in the third inning, scoring a run on a sacrifice fly by Christian Bethancourt for a 1-0 lead.
