Henderson Silver Knights News Release

Early season chemistry between Peyton Krebs and Reid Duke led the Henderson Silver Knights to a 6-2 victory over the Ontario Reign on Monday night at Orleans Arena.

HOW IT WENT DOWN

Peyton Krebs opened up the night with a laser pass from behind the net to a diving Reid Duke for the Silver Knights first goal of the game. Paul Cotter's elusive puck work created a shot on goal which was rebounded and put in by Jonas Rondbjerg to take a 2-0 lead late in the first period. Early in the second, Peyton Krebs found Reid Duke once again crashing to the net for another goal, giving the Silver Knights a 3-0 lead. The Ontario Reign answered right back with two quick goals to cut the lead back to one. Peyton Krebs continued his onslaught of points by adding a power play goal 13:36 into the second period. Defenseman Ryan Murphy and Jimmy Schuldt added to the goal scoring early in the third period to solidify a 6-2 Silver Knight victory.

LOOKING AHEAD

The Henderson Silver Knights will head to Bakersfield to play the Condors on Friday at 6:00 pm at Mechanics Bank Arena. Catch the game on 1230 The Game and AHL TV.
