Shoulders Activated; Rosario to Disabled List

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs, have announced that DH/INF Rock Shoulders has been activated from the 7-Day Disabled List and C Neftali Rosario has been placed on the 7-Day Disabled list. Kane County's roster stands at 25 active players for the opener of a three-game set against the West Michigan Whitecaps.
Shoulders has been out since June 29th with a sprained ankle at which time he was batting .267 with 44 RBI. Despite missing two weeks, Shoulders is tied for the Midwest League lead in home runs with 15.
In Rosario's second stint with the Cougars, the catcher played in just one game between July 3rd and July 13th. He went 0-for-4 on Friday night against the South Bend Silver Hawks.
