Severe Thunderstorm Swamps Saltdogs on Saturday
August 18, 2018 - American Association (AA)
Lincoln Saltdogs News Release
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX - A severe thunderstorm forced the postponement of the Lincoln Saltdogs and Texas AirHogs game scheduled for Saturday night at AirHogs Stadium. The teams will play two seven-inning games on Sunday with the first starting at 4:00 PM.
Rain has followed the Saltdogs in 2018, forcing four postponements. Most recently, rain created unplayable conditions at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita on the first game of this road trip. The Saltdogs are 6-2 in doubleheader games this season.
Both games will be broadcast on ESPN 101.5 FM 1480 AM and http://www.espn1480.com/lincoln-saltdogs-baseball/.
For more information on the Saltdogs, follow the team on Facebook and Twitter/Instagram @saltdogsball. For ticket information visit https://saltdogs.com/tickets/ or call (402) 474-2255.
