July 9, 2008 - Eastern League (EL1)
Erie SeaWolves News Release
Only 30 games left - have you been to SeaWolves City?
We've been having a lot of fun this season so we hope that you have been to the Uht a time or two! And as gas prices continue to rise, we continue to offer the most affordable, fan friendly entertainment in the region at the same prices as last year, with discounts available all the time. We hope you've noticed!
We also noticed a few former SeaWolves players making noise in Major League Baseball including Cody Ross batting .311 in the last month with 4 homeruns, and a special appearance by Jack Hannahan and Aramis Ramirez on Sportscenter's Top 10 Plays this Wednesday. Very nice!
And we're certain to see another SeaWolves player appearing on ESPN soon as current SeaWolves outfielder Wilkin Ramirez will be playing in the MLB Futures Game at the All-Star game in Yankee Stadium on Sunday, July 13. The game will be broadcast at 12:30 on ESPN2. Read more here.
On the promotional side, we have a cool Happy Hour planned for Friday with great live acoustic music by Jack Campbell along with food and drink specials in the Bud Light Beer Garden, Bring your Pet to the Ballpark on Saturday with $1 Smith's Hot Dogs and the Frisbee Dogs on the Field, a Wilkin Ramirez lithograph giveaway on Sunday, July 13 presented by Valley Tire, and an Erie Institute of Technology Buck Night on Monday, July 14! Pick a game, any game - and have a ball in SeaWolves City.
