ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION... Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a two-game skid as they take the field in game three of a four-game set against the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians). The SeaWolves looked primed to win their 10th game of the season against the Aeros last night with leads of 7-0 and 9-3, however, the bullpen could not hold on, surrendering nine runs in the seventh and 10 runs over the final three innings en route to a 13-11 loss. The loss put the 'Wolves two games under .500 (9-11) against the Aeros. RHP Jair Jurrjens makes his sixth start of the season against Akron and is 1-2 with a pair of no-decisions through his first five starts. Jurrjens picked up a win in his last outing against Bowie, tossing 7.1 innings, allowing a run on five hits; he did not walk a batter and he struck out a season-high nine hitters (two away from a career high)...Leftie Reid Santos takes the mound for the Aeros. Santos began the season out of the bullpen but was added to the rotation on May 30. Santos is 3-1 with a pair of no-decisions as a starter. He has face the 'Wolves in five relief appearances and has a record of 1-0...Three Erie SeaWolves were selected to the 2007 Eastern League All-Star team. The game will be played on July 11 at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Connecticut with the host team being the Connecticut Defenders. The three 'Wolves selected are RHP Dallas Trahern (EL leader in wins), RHP Jair Jurrjens and OF/DH Jackson Melian.
