Sean Escobedo Reassigned to Stockton

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Dec. 31, 2013) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced the defenseman Sean Escobedo has been reassigned to the Stockton Thunder (ECHL).

The Sound Tigers recalled Escobedo, 23, from Stockton on November 15th. Escobedo played in one game for the Sound Tigers before missing time due to injury. In eight games for the Thunder this season, Escobedo collected three assists.

Escobedo was a four-year player at Boston University. He had 33 points in his four years with the Terriers before signing a two-way (AHL/ECHL) deal with the Sound Tigers after his senior year in 2012-13.

The Sound Tigers kick off the first of a four-game road trip in Lewiston, ME, tonight with a 5:30 contest at Androscoggin Bank Colisee.
