AN INTERESTING MATCH-UP:RHP Heri Quevedo makes his Double-A debut and his first appearance of the season, as the Sea Dogs take on the Bowie Baysox (Orioles affiliate) in the middle game of a three-game set...Quevedo is taking the rotation spot of RHP Joe Gunkel, who makes the start for Bowie...Gunkel was traded to Baltimore in the Alejandro De Aza deal...The Sea Dogs have lost nine of their last 15 games and 20 of 31 at home this season...Bowie is 3-1 during their six-game, New England roadtrip.

THEY WON IT LATE: Bowie scored three times in the eighth inning to rally back and beat Portland 5-3 in the series opener on Friday night...Keury De La Cruz gave the Sea Dogs a first-inning lead with a 3-run shot to right field off starter Parker Bridwell...Portland left 12 runners on base, including the bases loaded in back-to-back innings (6 & 7)...Bowie tied the game in eighth on a sacrifice fly by Glynn Davis...Ozzie Martinez provided the game-winner with a two-run single...Mychael Givens closed out the win, retiring all six batters faced (4 strikeouts) to notch his 12th save of the season.
