PIT STOP IN PORTLAND : The Portland Sea Dogs and New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate) play their final series of the season at Hadlock Field...Tonight, RHP Justin Haley (5-13, 5.27) makes the start in the series opener...Portland returns home after a 3-3 trip to Pennsylvania, taking two of three from Altoona, but dropping two of three to Harrisburg...The Sea Dogs play their final 15 regular season games in New England: 3 vs. New Hampshire, 4 at New Britain, 4 at New Hampshire and 4 vs. New Britain.

REDEMPTION SUNDAY : The Sea Dogs scored eight runs with two outs in the fourth inning, their biggest inning since a 9-run fourth against Harrisburg on June 19, 2012 at Hadlock Field, and beat the Senators 9-0... Portland received six consecutive run-scoring hits from Carlos Asuaje (single), Oscar Tejeda (double), Dustin Lawley (double), Aneury Tavarez (single) and Luis Martinez (single)...Brian Rauh (L, 1-4) was lifted after Martinez's hit, but Gilberto Mendez walked Tzu-Wei Lin and Sam Travis belted his second double of the inning, a two-run hit to make it 8-0...Lawley knocked in the ninth run with a solo-homer.
