Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a six-day road trip as they begin a four-game series in three days against the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) at NYSEG Stadium. Yesterday, the SeaWolves once again jumped out to an early lead and belted out eight runs on 18 hits as they completed a three-game series sweep over Akron with an 8-1 win...The SeaWolves have swept consecutive series for the first time since August 6-12, 2010 when Erie took three at Reading and three at home against New Britain...Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 23rd start of the season, 16th with the SeaWolves and second against the Mets. He took a no-decision against Binghamton on July 1 allowing four runs on eight hits with no walks and five strikeouts in 6.2 innings. Collier earned his fourth win in his last start against New Britain on August 19. In the game, he allowed four runs on nine hits with a walk and two strikeouts in five innings of work. He left with the game tied in the top of the fifth, Erie scored in the bottom of the fifth and won the game 9-5... RHP Rainy Lara takes the mound for Binghamton making his 17th start and first against the SeaWolves. Lara took a loss in his last start against Richmond on August 19. In the game, he allowed two runs on five hits with four walks and three strikeouts in five innings... Dominic Ficociello has been named Eastern League Player of the Week. Ficociello hit .600 with three doubles, two triples and 10 RBI while scoring five runs.
