The Mahoning Valley Scrappers (3-3) (SS-A Cleveland) return to the field to take on the State College Spikes (1-5) (SS-A St. Louis) for the home opener at Eastwood Field.
Mahoning Valley is coming off a 1-0 loss to the Batavia Muckdogs on Wednesday night. Batavia used three pitchers to throw a perfect game against Mahoning Valley. It was the third perfect game in New York-Penn League history.
First pitch is set for 7:05. Jose Zapata gets the ball for Mahoning Valley.
