
National Grid Coach of the Week Nominations Wanted

Do you know a great Little League coach in NYC or LI that goes above and beyond for their team and community, and consistently provides the best experience for their young ball players and families? Give them the recognition they deserve this summer! Starting June 24nd, little league players and families will have the chance to submit their candidate for National Grid Little League Coach of the Week and Coach of the Year, as part of the Brooklyn Cyclones 2015 partnership with National Grid.
Winners will be featured on the Brooklyn Cyclones and National Grid's social media, and will be announced during home games every week. Each honoree will receive four tickets to attend the game and will be recognized on the field with a framed certificate.
From the pool of Coaches of the Week, a Coach of the Year will be chosen at the end of the season. Voting for the Coach or the Year will be open to through the Brooklyn Cyclones and National Grid Facebook pages. The Coach of the Year winner will be announced and honored on the field during the last home game of the season. The selected coach will receive four tickets to attend the game, and will be awarded a signed bat and a framed certificate.
How to enter your candidate:
Little league players, families and community members are welcome to submit a written description of why their favorite coach deserves the National Grid's Coach of the Week/Coach of the Year title. Entries should be emailed to NatGridCoach@brooklyncyclones.com by no later than Sunday, July 12*. All entries must include:
Name of the nominated coach
Name of the team, little league and division
Name of the sender
Reason why this coach deserves the title
Please include the name of your coach in the subject line.
***Number of entries per coach will not impact the coaches' likelihood to win the title of National Grid Coach of the Week.***
