Scout Appreciation Weekend This Friday & Saturday

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will hold the third of three "Scout Appreciation Weekends" when they host the Manchester Monarchs this Friday at 7:35 p.m. and the Binghamton Senators this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard.
All scouts and their families can purchase discounted $12.50 tickets for both games this weekend, and individual groups of scouts will be recognized over the public address system and the digital display boards. Scouts who attend either game in uniform will also receive, while supplies last, the third in a series of three special Sound Tigers / Scout patches. Scouts will also help pick up following Friday's intermission "Chuck-A-Puck", and Scout Pack 66 from Norwalk will present the colors for the singing of the national anthem prior to Saturday's game.
The Sound Tigers will open a three-game homestand when they host the Manitoba Moose Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. They will also host Manchester Friday at 7:35 p.m. and Binghamton Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Sound Tigers will visit the Springfield Falcons Sunday at 4 p.m. All Sound Tigers' games are broadcast live on "The ZONE" FOX Sports Radio 1300 AM and at www.soundtigers.com. WSTC/WNLK 1400/1350 AM also broadcasts road games.
