Best of Bob's, Shaw's Rewards & AAA Specials Offered

BRIDGEPORT, CT – The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, are offering ticket specials for customers of Bob's Stores and Shaw's Supermarkets, as well as AAA members.

Fans who show their Best of Bob's Card at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard box office will receive a free ticket for this Wednesday's home game versus the Manitoba Moose and/or this Friday's home game versus the Manchester Monarchs when they purchase a ticket of equal or greater value. This special is also available for the Wednesday, March 19th home game versus the Springfield Falcons, the Friday March 28th home game versus the Albany River Rats and the Wednesday, April 2nd home game versus the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Fans who show their Shaw's Rewards Card at the Harbor Yard box office will receive a free ticket to this Wednesday's game with the purchase of a ticket of equal or greater value. This special is also available for the Sunday, March 16th home game versus the Binghamton Senators, the Wednesday, March 19th game versus Springfield, as well as the Friday, March 28th and Friday, April 4th games versus Albany.

AAA members who show their membership card at the Harbor Yard box office will receive a free ticket to any weekday game this month with the purchase of a ticket of equal or greater value. AAA members who show their membership card at the Harbor Yard box office can also purchase discounted center-ice seats for $19.50 for any Saturday game this month.

The Bob's, Shaw's and AAA specials are limited to four tickets per person. Additional information on these specials, as well as all Sound Tigers' games and promotions is available by calling 203-334-GOAL or logging on to www.soundtigers.com.

The Sound Tigers will open a three-game homestand when they host the Manitoba Moose this Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. They will also host Manchester this Friday at 7:35 p.m. and Binghamton this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Sound Tigers will visit Springfield this Sunday at 4 p.m. All Sound Tigers' games are broadcast live on "The ZONE" FOX Sports Radio 1300 AM and at www.soundtigers.com. WSTC/WNLK 1400/1350 AM also broadcasts road games.

This Friday and Saturday will also be "Scout Appreciation Weekend" and Saturday will be "Norwalk Appreciation Night". There will also be intermission MasterCard mini-hockey games Friday and Saturday, as well as an intermission "Chuck-A-Puck" Friday.
