
Scott Parse Recalled To Manchester

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Scott Parse has been recalled to Manchester. In a separate transaction, defenseman Rob LaLonde was activated from the 30-Day Injured Reserve.
Parse, (6'1/185) (22), a first year pro from Kalamazoo, MI, scored five goals and assisted on eleven others in eighteen games after joining the Royals from Manchester on February 8. Parse is currently riding a three game goal scoring (and point) streak with the Royals (3g-3a=6pts). LaLonde (6'4/210) (25), a second year pro from Williamsville, New York, has not played for Reading since February 9, when he sustained an injury. At the time of his injury, LaLonde was riding a four game point streak (2g-3a=5pts). Over the course of the season, LaLonde has scored eight goals, assisted on seven others (fifteen points) and picked up 149 penalty minutes in thirty-four games.
The Royals return to action tonight (March 21; 7:35 pm) at First Arena in Elmira, New York against the Elmira Jackals. The game night broadcast tonight will begin at 7:05 pm with the pre-game warm-up show on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Ephrata, as well as on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com. Streaming video is available on a pay per view basis through the B2 Networks.
