Brodeur is Back, Back Again; Returns from Rockford

AUGUSTA, GA - Goaltender Mike Brodeur has been reassigned by the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks to the Ice Pilots. Brodeur who was recalled to Rockford on February 23rd rejoins the Ice Pilots after a four game stint with the AHL affiliate.

In six games this season with Rockford, Brodeur went 2-3-0 with a 2.41 GAA and a 0.915 save percentage. In three games in the month of March, he had a 2.09 GAA, allowing just one goal in two of his three appearances.

The 24 year old native of Calgary, AB appeared in 20 games this season with the Ice Pilots, going 7-7-4 with a 3.16 GAA, a 0.911 save percentage and a shut out. Brodeur was named ECHL Goalie of the Week for the week of February 4-10. In the month of February, he went 5-1-2 with a 2.71 GAA and a 0.921 save percentage.

Brodeur also dressed for a game in the NHL this season. He was in uniform in the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche at United Center on Sunday, February 17th.
