Kane County Cougars News Release
Comstock Park, MI - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs, have announced that RHP Scott Baker has joined the Cougars on Sunday afternoon to make his first of at least four minor league rehab starts. Baker underwent Tommy John surgery in April of 2012 and suffered a set back in March of 2013 after his first Cactus League start. Since signing one-year free agent contract with the Chicago Cubs in November of 2012, Baker has not yet thrown in a regular season game for Chicago. Today's roster move maintains an active squad of 25 players as the team plays game two of a three-game series against the West Michigan Whitecaps.
