LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced that right-handed pitcher Kendall Graveman, the Blue Jays' 8th round selection in the 2013 draft, has been assigned to Lansing and will make his professional debut today against the Burlington Bees. In a corresponding move, left-handed pitcher Alonzo Gonzalez was transferred to Vancouver (Short-Season - Northwest League).

A native of Alexander City, Alabama, the 22-year-old right-hander went 8-5 with a 3.09 ERA in 19 starts for SEC powerhouse Mississippi State. The Bulldogs gritted their way to the 2013 College World Series National Championship before bowing out to UCLA.

The Lugnuts host the Bees in a 2:05 p.m. Kids Day at Cooley Law School Stadium this afternoon; Graveman starts opposite Burlington southpaw Ryan Crowley.

Lansing's roster now consists of 25 active players with four players on the Disabled List and one player on the Temporarily Inactive List.
