
Santa Cruz Warriors Acquire Rights to Millsavljevic, Vereen, Mollet & Marcus Hubbard in Trade

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired the rights to point guard Milos Millsavljevic, forward Anthony Vereen and guard Aaron Mollet from the Texas Legends, and the returning player rights to Marcus Hubbard, the team announced today. In exchange, Santa Cruz has sent the rights to Yuki Togashi, Trayvonn Wright, and Melvin Johnson III to the Texas Legends, the Iowa Energy and the Delaware 87ers, respectively.
Togashi who was dealt to the Legends, was selected as the 27th pick in the second round of the 2014 NBA D-League Draft by the Santa Cruz Warriors- a pick which was originally Oklahoma City Blue's 2014 pick. In addition, the Warriors sent Trayvonn Wright, their 31 st pick of the second round of the 2014 NBA D-league Draft to Iowa. The Delaware 87ers received Melvin Johnson III, the Santa Cruz Warriors 1 st round pick in the 2014 NBA D-League Draft. Rio Grande Valley was the 5th team participating in the trade, acquiring the Iowa Energy's 7th round pick in the 2014 NBA D-League Draft, Brandon Provost and forward Earl Clark.
Milos Millsavljevic, 21, was drafted by the Texas Legends in the 1st round of the 2014 NBA D-League Draft. A 6'4'', 202-pound point guard, Millsavljevic last played for KK Spartak Subotica (Serbia), averaging 16 points per game. He is eligible for the 2015 NBA draft.

Vereen, 28, was drafted by the Texas Legends in the 4th Round (#60) in the 2014 NBA D-League Draft. The 6'6", 244-pound forward has two years of service in the D-League after enjoying a standout career at Texas-Arlington
Mollet, 25, was selected by the Texas Legends at the 96 th pick in the 6 th round of the 2014 NBA D-League Draft (#96). Mollet attended the Santa Cruz Warriors 2014 open tryout and also attended the Warriors' 2013 training camp.
Hubbard, 30, was selected in the first round (11th overall) by the Dakota Wizards in the 2008 NBA D-League Draft. The 6'9'' 229-pound center is a 4-year veteran of the D-League, having played for the Albuquerque Thunderbirds, the Dakota Wizards, and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
