Skyforce Selects Seven Players in 2014 NBA D-League Draft

Sioux Falls, SD (November 1, 2014) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce selected Fuquan Edwin from Seton Hall with the 15th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Development League Draft.
Edwin was the 2013-14 Big East Defensive Player of the Year and was also named to the 2013-14 All-Big East 2nd Team. During his senior season, he led the Big East in steals for the second time during his college career. This past summer, Edwin played for the Oklahoma City Thunder during the Orlando Summer League before signing with the San Antonio Spurs on October 24.

Adam Simon, General Manager of the Skyforce, had this to say about today's draft, "We're excited to have acquired several young players who we feel have a lot of talent and potential. We feel this group will bring a lot to our team and will bring the same toughness and character that is part of the Skyforce culture. Camp gets underway Monday and we can't wait to get started."
The seven players selected by the Skyforce will join training camp invitees Chris Allen, Khem Birch, A.J. Davis, Larry Drew II, Joseph Harris, Tyler Johnson, Shawn Jones, Casey Mitchell, Orion Outerbridge and Henry Walker in Sioux Falls for the start of training camp on Monday, November 3.
Season tickets and 24-ticket flex packs for the 2014-15 season are on sale. The home opener is set for Saturday, November 22 against the Iowa Energy. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT at the Sanford Pentagon. For more information, please contact a Skyforce representative at (605) 332-0605.
