
Sagdal Drives in Five, Sens Win 8-4

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Senators (32-19) beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (23-26) 8-4 in a rain-shortened game Tuesday night. Ian Sagdal drove in five runs with a two-run double and a three-run home run. The three-run home run broke a 4-4 tie in the fifth and put the Sens on top 7-4. Four pitchers appeared in the game for the Senators with Jacob Condra-Bogan earning the win.
Turning Point
After the Fisher Cats tied the game in the top of the fifth on a three-run home run the Senators came to bat in the last of the fifth and the first two batters were retired. However, Jose Marmolejos drew a full-count walk which was the turning point. Chuck Taylor followed with a single to center and Ian Sagdal then hit a three-run home run giving the Sens a 7-4.
On Capitol Hill
Jackson Tetreault started and pitched two innings plus one batter in the third before leaving with an apparent injury after a batted ball hit him.
Jacob Condra-Bogan followed Tetreault and went three innings and allowed three hits and three runs while striking out five.
Trevor Rosenthal pitched a scoreless inning as his rehab with the Senators continues.
Ronald Pena pitched a scoreless seventh inning while allowing a hit and striking out a batter.
With the Gavel
Ian Sagdal drove in five runs with a two-run double and a three-run home run. He now has 28 RBIs on the season.
Chuck Taylor went had two hits, both of them in front of Sagdal's extra base hits.
Jose Marmolejos and Austin Davidson both had run scoring hits in the first inning.
Filibusters
The Senators have won back-to-back games for the first time since sweeping Trenton in a four-game series 5/13-5/15.
The five RBIs by Sagdal is the second time this season a Senator has driven in five runs.

The Senators and New Hampshire Fisher Cats play game two of their three-game series Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Harrisburg 96.5FM 95.3FM and 1400AM beginning at 6:20 p.m.
