TONIGHT: The Binghamton Rumble Ponies look for their third straight win against the Bowie Baysox at NYSEG Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT: The Rumble Ponies shutout the Baysox 6-0 Friday night. Every Pony hitter registered at least one hit. RHP Harol Gonzalez earned his sixth win of the year with seven scoreless innings in which he allowed just four hits with no walks and four strikeouts.

EVERYBODY HITS: Each of the batters in the Ponies lineup registered a hit in Friday's game. The team registered 12 hits. It was the fourth time this season that everyone in the starting lineup registered a hit. Sam Haggerty, Gavin Cecchini and Andres Gimenez each tallied two hits.

HAGGERTY COMES THROUGH: Sam Haggerty tallied two hits, two runs scored, one RBI and a stolen base. He is now riding a season-high six game hit streak, during which he has recorded two hits three times. He is 9-25 (.360) during this stretch.

MAZEIKA ADDS TWO MORE TO RBI TOTAL: With his two-run single in the third on Friday, Patrick Mazeika increased his RBI total to 55, which ranks third in the Eastern League. Reading's Darick Hall leads the league with 62, and Chris Gittens from Trenton sits in second with 58.

WILSON'S STRONG STARTS: In each of his last two starts RHP Tommy Wilson has tossed six scoreless innings and given up just two hits. He has been efficient on the mound as well, throwing just 68 pitches in his last start (July 22 at Reading) and 73 before that (July 14 at Portland).

BOWIE'S BAUMANN THROWS NO HITTER: RHP Mike Baumann threw a no hitter against Harrisburg on July 16. He struck out 10 and allowed just two walks on 94 pitches over the nine innings in Bowie's 6-0 win. Baumann earned EL Pitcher of the Week honors for July 15-July 21. In his second win of the week , he allowed three runs on three hits over 5.2 innings in Bowie's 8-6 loss to Altoona on July 21.

PEREZ VS. PONIES: After recording two hits last night, Baysox catcher Carlos Perez is now 6-14 (.429) in four games against the Rumble Ponies this season. He has one home run and one RBI vs. Binghamton.

PONIES HITTING THEIR STRIDE: The Rumble Ponies have won seven of their last 10 games. By taking the first two of this four-game series with the Baysox, the Ponies have ended Bowie's streak of 14 consecutive series wins.
