Harrisburg Supplies the Power in a 4-1 Win

Portland, Maine - Ian Sagdal broke a 1-1 tie with a two-run homer in the sixth inning and the Harrisburg Senators (16-19) shut down the Sea Dogs (17-20) 4-1 in front of a sellout crowd on Saturday night at Hadlock Field.

With two outs and a runner on first in the top of the sixth, Eduard Bazardo entered the game for Portland to face Sagdal, who sent a 1-0 pitch into the Sea Dogs' bullpen in right field to give Harrisburg a 3-1 lead.

Portland had taken a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on an RBI groundout by Luke Tendler. Harrisburg tied the game on a solo homer by Rhett Wiseman in the fifth off of Konner Wade.

Steven Fuentes (W, 5-4) allowed a run on five hits in six innings, he struck out six.

Wade (L, 2-4), who was pitching on three days rest, allowed two runs on six hits in 5.2 innings and struck out a season-high eight.

Harrisburg added a run in the seventh on a two-out, RBI single by Dante Bichette, Jr. off of Bazardo.

Aaron Fletcher worked two scoreless innings of relief for the Senators. Brad Boxberger (S, 1) pitched a perfect ninth to close out the ballgame.

The two teams wrap-up a four-game set on Sunday afternoon beginning at 1:00 PM from Hadlock Field. RHP Denyi Reyes (6-9, 3.81) makes his 20th start of the season for Portland against RHP Tyler Mapes (4-5, 5.05)
