Royals Sign Forward Eric Giosa

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has signed forward Eric Giosa ["GEE oh sah"] to an Amateur Tryout agreement. Giosa (5'11/182) (24), who hails from Northville, Michigan, just completed a four-year college career at Sacred Heart University, where he scored a total of forty-two goals and assisted on forty-two others (eighty-four points) and picked up 115 penalty minutes in 140 total games.

The Royals travel to Wheeling, West Virginia, where they will face the Wheeling Nailers tonight (Saturday, March 21 @ 7:35 pm) at WesBanco Arena. Saturday's game will be broadcast live on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast (True Oldies WRAW 1340 am in Reading; and The Ticket WLAN 1390 am in Lancaster), as well as on the internet via webcast hosted by Sportsjuice.com, which can be accessed through the Royals website.
