Royals Announce 2010-11 Reading Eagle Fan's Choice Awards

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced the recipients of the team's 2010-11 Reading Eagle Fan's Choice Awards. The annual team awards were presented in conjunction with Fan Appreciation Night prior to the team's final game of the regular season at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, against the Trenton Devils.
The Royals 2010-11 Fan's Choice Awards were announced as follows: (i) Offensive Players of the Year presented by Nathaniel Ehrlich, Esq.: Ryan Cruthers and Chris Blight; (ii) Defensive Player of the Year presented by V&M Towing: Todd Perry; (iii) Rookie of the Year presented by The Works at Wyomissing: Casey Haines; (iv) Ironman Award: Todd Perry; (v) Heart Award: John Scrymgeour; (vi) Unsung Hero Award presented by Freymoyer's Hotel & Restaurant: Louis Liotti; (vii) Scrapper of the Year by V&M Towing: Olivier Labelle; (viii) Most Valuable Player presented by Auto Spa of Wyomissing: Ben Gordon; (ix) Fan's Choice Award: Andrew Sarauer; (x) General Manager's Award: Assistant Equipment Manager (and Emergency Back-Up Goaltender) Alex Sincavage; and (xi) Star of the Season presented by Deibler Dental: Matt Dalton.
The Royals kick off the Kelly Cup Playoffs with Game One of the best-of-five Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series against the Cincinnati Cyclones on Tuesday, April 5 @ 7:05 pm at the Sovereign Center. The game night broadcast will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by The Works at Wyomissing at 6:35 pm on WRAW 1340 am and on the internet at www.1340wraw.com.
