Rouleau Recalled to Baby Pens

WHEELING, WV – The Wheeling Nailers announce today that defenseman Alex Rouleau has been recalled by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.

Rouleau began the season with the Penguins and was assigned to the Nailers for three games from October 31 – November 2 before being recalled back to the AHL. He was reassigned to the Nailers for the second time this season on January 9 and had been with the team until this call up back to the AHL.

Rouleau has played 22 games for the Nailers this season and has four points on three goals and one assist while playing at a +6. He also had 25 penalty minutes. In the AHL this season, Rouleau has played 11 games and has one assist while playing at a +1 with seven penalty minutes.

The Nailers play this Friday at Saturday night at WesBanco Arena. Both games are against the Cincinnati Cyclone and will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday night will be the final John Sisson Motors Car Giveaway with one lucky fan having the chance to win a car. Saturday night is WesBanco Buck Bobblehead Doll Night with the first 3,000 fans receiving a bobblehead courtesy of WesBanco.
