Cyclones Acquire Malcolm MacMillan

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones General Manager and Coach Chris Cichocki announced today that the Cyclones have acquired Malcolm MacMillan from the Peoria Rivermen in exchange for future considerations.

MacMillan joins the Cyclones after playing 46 ECHL games this year with Florence and Peoria. MacMillan has three goals and six assists for nine points this season.

MacMillan is competing in his first season of pro hockey after playing four years in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). MacMillan recorded 27 goals and 75 assists for 102 points with 514 penalty minutes in 190 OHL games.

MacMillan is expected to make his Cyclones debut this weekend in Wheeling. The Cyclones are in Wheeling on Friday and Saturday. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. with a pre-game show on sportsjuice.com beginning at 7:20 p.m.

The Cyclones return home on Friday, March 5th against the Trenton Titans. It 's Columbus Blue Jackets night including prize giveaways from Ohio's only NHL franchise. "The Ref" will also be on hand to entertain fans.
