
Roster Released For Playoff Push

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have released their 22-man clear day roster along with a list of four players who are in residence. According to AHL by-laws, only those players listed on a team's clear day roster are eligible to compete in the remaining five weeks of the 2005-06 regular season and / or the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts, only after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.

The Sound Tigers will continue a stretch of seven straight road games when they visit the Providence Bruins and Portland Pirates this Friday and Saturday, March 17th and 18th. Both of this weekend's games will begin at 7:05 p.m. All Sound Tigers games are web-cast live at www.soundtigers.com. Fans can also watch all AHL games live on the Internet via the B2 Networks pay per view.
