Aeros announce Clear Day roster

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros have announced their 22-man "Clear Day" roster and a three-person "In Residence" squad in preparation for the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs. According to AHL by-laws, only those players listed on a team's Clear Day roster are eligible to compete in the remaining five weeks of the AHL regular season and in the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.

Aeros' 2006 Clear Day Roster:

Goalies (2): Josh Harding, Seamus Kotyk

Defensemen (7): Ryan Stokes, Shawn Belle, Erik Reitz, Colin Peters, Curtis Murphy, Clayton Stoner, Scott Ferguson

Forwards (13): Erik Westrum, Kirby Law, Bryan Lundbohm, Peter Olvecky, Bill Kinkel, Roman Voloshenko, Josh Olson, Joel Ward, Patrick O'Sullivan, Greg Mauldin, Matt Foy, Joey Tetarenko, Brendan Bernakevitch

In Residence List (3): F Adam Courchaine, F Andrei Nazarov, G Miroslav Kopriva

The Aeros play game two of a four-game road trip Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Chicago. The road trip continues in Milwaukee at 7 p.m. Friday and San Antonio at 7 p.m. Saturday. Houston returns to Toyota Center on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. for a Family Day tilt against San Antonio.
