Wolf Pack add Holt from Charlotte

Hartford, March 14, 2006: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned goaltender Chris Holt to the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL effective today.

In eight games this year with the Wolf Pack, Holt is 2-2-1 with a 4.39 goals-against average and an 87.4% save percentage. He has also appeared in one NHL game with the Rangers, December 3rd at Washington, in which he stopped both shots he faced in 10 minutes of work. In 18 ECHL games with the Checkers, the rookie out of the University of Nebraska-Omaha was 6-8-1 with a 3.84 GAA and an 89.3% save percentage.

The Wolf Pack return to action tomorrow night, Wednesday, March 15th, with a visit to Philadelphia (7:05 faceoff). After that, the Pack head to Norfolk to take on the Admirals two nights in a row on Friday (7:15 p.m.) and Saturday (7:15 p.m.).
