Bears release 2006 clear day roster

HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today the club has released the Clear Day Period roster for the 2006 Calder Cup playoffs. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

The 22 players on this year's list are as follows:

Goaltenders: Frederic Cassivi, Kirk Daubenspeck

Skaters (in alphabetical order): Dean Arsene, Jared Aulin, Kris Beech, Chris Bourque, Jakub Cutta, Eric Fehr, Tomas Fleischmann, Colin Forbes, J.F Fortin, Boyd Gordon, Mike Green, Boyd Kane, Jakub Klepis, Brooks Laich, Graham Mink, Lawrence Nycholat, Louis Robitaille, Dave Steckel, Martin Wilde and Mark Wotton

According to AHL by-laws, only those players listed on a team's Clear Day roster are eligible to compete in the remaining five weeks of the 2005-06 AHL regular season and in the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts, only after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.

The BEARS will host the Albany River Rats Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. and the Binghamton Senators Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
