January 6, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL)
Phoenix RoadRunners News Release
PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have activated forward Liam Lindstrom from the 30-day injured reserve. Lindstrom is expected to be in uniform this evening when the RoadRunners welcome the Las Vegas Wranglers to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m.
Lindstrom, 21, has missed the past 12 games after going on injured reserve Dec. 9. The rookie center has one goal and six points in 15 games this season. Selected by the Coyotes in the fourth round (#115 overall) at the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Lindstrom played professionally in his native Sweden over the past three seasons. He is the son of former two-time Stanley Cup champion Wily Lindstrom.
To make room for Lindstrom on the roster, the RoadRunners have placed rookie center Jeff Kyrzakos on the three-day injured reserve. Kyrzakos has three goals and six points in 29 games.
Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. tonight as they open a new four-game homestand beginning with the Las Vegas Wranglers. It's the third of six "Guys Night Out" promotions presented by Classic Rock 100.7 FM KSLX and Coach & Willie's. "Guys Night Out" includes a ticket to the game, a voucher good for a 16 oz. beverage at any US Airways Center concessions stands, and a t-shirt voucher good for an official "Guys Night Out" t-shirt all for just $13 by logging on to www.phxroadrunners.com. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 regular season start as low $7 in the lower section and can be purchased at the US Airways Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster.com.
