
Road Warriors Shutout Stingrays 3-0

Greenville, SC - Goaltender Jason Missiaen stopped all 38 South Carolina Stingrays (12-9-0-1) shots as the Greenville Road Warriors (13-8-0-0) prevailed 3-0 at the Bi-Lo Center Friday night.
The Road Warriors jumped on the board with a tally from forward Kale Kerbashian at 9:02 of the opening period slipping a shot past the glove of Stingrays goaltender Philipp Grubauer (L, 27 saves on 30 shots). Defenseman T.J. Reynolds and forward Brendon Wong added the assists. Road Warriors forward Brendan Connolly made it a 2-0 lead at 15:20 from forward Marc-Olivier Vallerand.
Vallerand completed the game scoring with his ninth goal of the season at 9:19 of the second period to give the Road Warriors a three-goal lead. Connolly grabbed the lone assist. The Stingrays ended the evening 0-for-6 on the power play while the Road Warriors went 0-for-5.
The Stingrays continue a three-game road trip tomorrow, Saturday, December 10 against the Gwinnett Gladiators at The Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m. and return to the North Charleston Coliseum Friday, December 16 against the Gladiators at 7:05 p.m. for Toys for Tots presented by Count on News 2. Unwrapped toy donations will be accepted at the Stingrays Customer Service table behind section 110. Albert the Juggler will be performing during Friday's contest and Santa Claus will make special appearances all weekend (December 16, 17 and 18)!
The Stingrays and Chase After A Cure are teaming up to fight neuroblastoma on Saturday, December 17 against the Gladiators at the North Charleston Coliseum.
