The Elmira Jackals attempt to extend their winning streak to seven games when they take on the Florida Everblades at Germain Arena at 7:30 p.m. in the second of a three-game series. Elmira has won six-straight games for the first time since the club won seven in a row to kick off the 2009-2010 season. The Jackals' longest same-season winning streak since joining the ECHL is seven games, also accomplished in 2007-2008. Elmira won 10-straight from the end of the 2008-2009 season through the start of the 2009-2010 campaign. The longest winning streak in club history is 12 games, recorded in the team's second season in the UHL of 2001-2002.

RADJA STAYS ON FIRE

With his two goals on Wednesday night, Mike Radja now has 14 this season, fourth best in the ECHL and most by a Jackal. Radja tied the game late in the second period on the power play and then put Elmira in front for good with 5:11 remaining in the third with his second-game winning goal of the season. The Yorkville, Ill. native also has two shootout goals this season and has scored five times in the last three contests.

NAILBITER CENTRAL

Of the Jackals' 22 games this season, 18 have been decided by one or two goals. Elmira is 7-3-0-0 in one-goal contests and 4-4-0-0 in two-goal games. The Jackals earned their first one-goal victory decided in regulation on Wednesday; all six previous one-goal wins had come either in overtime or a shootout. Elmira has not won a game by more than two goals since it defeated Florida on Oct. 21, 5-2.
