TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight the Cyclones will seek some revenge as they open a home-and-home series against the Toledo Walleye at the Huntington Center. Two weeks ago, the "Fish" picked up a pair of victories against the Cyclones to claim a 2-1 season series lead. Since 2006, the Cyclones have posted a 10-12-0 record in Northwest Ohio.

SCOUTING THE WALLEYE: Nick Vitucci's club has roared to life over the last couple of weeks, going 7-3-0 in their last ten games and currently holds a three-point edge over Cincinnati in the North Division standings (however, Toledo has played three more games). With Evan Rankin and Adam Estoclet still playing in the American Hockey League, defenseman Bryan Rufenach is the Walleye's active leader in points (7 goals, 5 assists=12 points). In fact, his point-totals are good for a sixth-place tie among all ECHL defenseman and he leads all rookies with four power play goals. The Walleye have been an offensively potent team when playing at home, lighting the lamp 42 times at the Huntington Center which is third most in the league.

About Saturday Night vs. Greenville: Anthony Luciani's second goal of the night came with just 1:24 to play in regulation as he lifted the Cyclones to a 6-5 triumph over the Road Warriors in front of 4,785 at U.S. Bank Arena. Luciani ended up with a three point night while Mathieu Aubin, Evan Trupp, Mike Pelech, and Daniel Koger all posted two-point games.

December in the North: Including tonight, the Cyclones will only play North Division opponents the rest of the month. It is the most division-heavy scheduled month of the 2011-12 season. In all, the Clones will play Toledo three times, Chicago two times, and Kalamazoo four times before the calender flips to 2012.

Early Bird Catches the "W": Despite being a late-scoring team, the Cyclones are equally as deadly when they hold the lead after the first period, posting a 3-1-0-1 record in such situations this season.

Aubin's Record Breaker: This past Saturday, Cyclones mainstay Mathieu Aubin played in his 300th professional game. He has amassed 219 points in his career, 162 of them coming in a Cincinnati jersey. Upon his next assist, he will take over the second-place spot on the All-Time Franchise Assist List...he currently shares the spot with Sheldon Gorski with 93 career assists.
