Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the second straight night, the Kalamazoo Wings and will head to the "Windy City" to tangle the Chicago Express. Scoring four unanswered goals on Wednesday, the Express defeated the K-Wings 4-1. After tonight, the teams will head back to Kalamazoo to meet again tomorrow at Wings Stadium.
Closing out a four-game road swing tonight, the K-Wings are looking to get back to their winning ways. Kalamazoo enters the game in second place in the North Division, just one point behind Chicago. On the season, the K-Wings are 3-2-0-0 against the Express.
Not only did the Express move into first place on Wednesday, they also snapped a two-game losing streak. Recently acquired Chad Painchaud led the Express arsenal earning two points (1 goal, 1 assist), while Chaz Johnson notched his team-leading ninth-goal of the season on the game-winner.
