
Rivermen to Host Season Ticket Holder Preseason Party on Wednesday, October 13

Peoria, Ill. (October 7, 2004) â General Manager Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that the team will host its annual Season Ticket Holder Preseason Party on Wednesday, October 13 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Ashland House & Convention Center (a Best Western property) in Morton, Ill.
Food and beverages (Soda & Tea) will be provided to all season ticket holders with a cash bar (beer, wine & spirits) also available. The 2004-2005 edition of the team will be introduced to the Rivermen faithful during the festivities.
Direction to the Ashland House, a new and proud Rivermen corporate partner, are as follows: From the East: Take I-74 West to Morton; exit Morton Avenue North; from the ramp, make a right and turn right on Ashland Avenue; follow Ashland Avenue around to the Ashland House & Convention Center. From the West: Take I-74 East to Morton; exit Morton Avenue North; from the ramp, make to right and then turn right on Ashland Avenue; follow Ashland Avenue around to the Ashland House & Convention Center.

The Peoria Rivermen are a proud affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and a member of the ECHL â America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Rivermen open their ninth season in the 28-team league on Friday, October 22, 2004, when they host the archrival Dayton Bombers at Carver Arena.
