Peoria, Ill. (October 7, 2004) – General Manager Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that the team, in association with Infinity Pro Sports, has re-designed and relaunched their Web site – www.rivermen.net.

The site includes new-look graphics, which feature the Peoria Riverfront with water in motion and a giant Rivermen with a rotating captain's wheel as part of the site's header along with player head shots and moving action shots that fade off the screen. The site will continue to feature left navigational buttons with rollover menus and header navigational buttons with quick links for easy access to team information.

The site is fully functional, except for the "Merchandise" section – which will feature brand new team merchandise and novelties available for purchase on Wednesday, October 13.

The "Team" section, which will soon be updated with new player information, will continue to feature an in-depth summary paragraph about, statistical information for and pictures of each player on the Rivermen roster. The "Team" section also features hockey operations and front office biographies, including pictures. The "News" section will continue to feature up-to-the minute Rivermen information with an archive and transaction feature.

In the "Fan Zone" section, fans can register to receive all outgoing Rivermen information (players signings and all other team news) via e-mail, listen to Rivermen games live over the Internet, access "Call The Coach;" "Ask A Rivermen;" and "Hockey 101," sign up for the Booster Club, and delve into the Rivermen Hall of Fame. In the "Multimedia" section, fans can download wallpaper, screensavers and eCards. They can also view the team photo gallery and view links to the team's media outlets. In the "Community Relations" section, fans and organizations can request player appearances through our printable player appearance form after viewing team guidelines.

In the "Carver Arena" section, fans can access directions to Carver Arena, parking facilities information, Carver Arena policies and view a seating chart. In the "Affiliates" section, information about the St. Louis Blues, Peoria's NHL parent club, and the Worcester IceCats, Peoria's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, is available. In the "Partnerships" section, interested businesses can view information about partnership opportunities, and fans can look over the list of Rivermen partners.

In the "Contact Us" section, fans can interact with the Rivermen office with any inquiry they have. Individuals can also inquire about internship and employment opportunities. A site map is also available.
