(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that they have traded forward Jim Abbott to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL.
Abbott, who was acquired on January 14th from Pensacola of the ECHL, appeared in 35 games with Toledo at the conclusion of the 2003-04 season. With Toledo, Jim totaled 24 points with 7 goals along with 17 assists. His best game in a Toledo uniform came February 22nd when he netted the third goal and added an assist in a 4-3 Toledo win.
Opening Night 2004 is October 22nd as Toledo takes on Wheeling, with a post-game concert featuring Firehouse. Tickets for that contest and for all 36 games are now on sale. Toledo Hockey...A History Of Champions!
