Rip City Remix News Release
Portland, Ore. - The Rip City Remix invite you to join our inaugural Women's Empowerment Celebration Night as the Remix take on the Memphis Hustle on March 4 at 6 p.m. PT. In collaboration with our corporate and community partners, we will be raising money to support local nonprofit organizations as we celebrate and uplift the women in our community.
Our Women's Empowerment Night will highlight our Community Partner of the Game, Rose Haven. Rose Haven is the only day shelter and community center in Portland for Women, children and marginalized genders. They strive to provide day shelter, resources, and emotional support for those experiencing homelessness and poverty. Fans are encouraged to bring donations of deodorant and leggings to the game for the community supported by Rose Haven.
Exclusive Remix merchandise will be on sale at the pop-up apparel shop on the concourse to commemorate the inaugural Women's Empowerment Celebration. All Women's Empowerment merchandise profits will be donated to Rose Haven. Fans looking to donate to Rose Haven can also contribute by purchasing a raffle ticket at the game for a chance to win a customized one-of-a-kind record art piece donated by Ty Givens of 2025th Street.
In addition to an action-packed game, fans can enjoy entertainment all throughout the night. Camile Tredoux will perform the National Anthem ahead of the competition. During halftime, fans can view the newest designs from Johnny Cool in a fashion show taking place on the court. Additionally, DJ Ashé and special guest DJ Novacane will spin tracks all night, featuring many songs on the Rip City Remix Women's Empowerment Spotify Playlist.
