College Park Drops 111-96 Contest to Delaware Blue Coats

College Park, Georgia. - The College Park Skyhawks (15-11) fell to the first place Delaware Blue Coats (17-8), 111-96.

Rob Baker netted a team-high 19 points behind 3-5 from beyond the arc, collecting four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 28 minutes.

Over his last six games, Baker is shooting at a .563% clip from deep (18-32 3FGM).

AJ Griffin notched G-League career highs of five steals and three blocks, adding in 10 points, four rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes off the bench.

Four other Skyhawks joined Baker and Griffin in double figures, including Miles Norris (17 points), Jordan Bowden (15 points), Mouhamed Gueye (11 points) and Vit Krejci (10 points).

After a back and forth first quarter, Delaware opened a 16-point lead in the second quarter, thanks to 8-17 shooting from deep in the first half.

College Park would cut into the Blue Coat's lead to open the second half, getting as close as a one-point deficit, thanks to 10 third quarter points from Jordan Bowden.

Delaware responded with a 10-2 run to end the third quarter with an 81-72 lead and held a double-digit advantage for the majority of the final quarter.

Darius Bazley posted a game-high 25 points for the Blue Coats, while Jared Brownridge and Rob Edwards each had season-high nights with 24 and 19 points apiece.

The Skyhawks hold a 15-11 record in the final month of the regular season, sitting at a tie for fifth place in the East with eight games remaining, five of which are at home in College Park.

College Park will take on the second-place Osceola Magic in a back-to-back series to close out the six-game home stand on Mar. 8 at 7 p.m. and Mar. 9 at 6:30 p.m. Fans can visit cpskyhawks.com to secure their seats now.
