Herd's Wenyen Gabriel Suspended

NEW YORK - Wisconsin Herd forward Wenyen Gabriel has been suspended one game without pay for directing inappropriate and offensive language toward a game official, it was announced today by NBA G League President Shareef Abdur-Rahim.
The comments, for which Gabriel was assessed a technical foul and ejected, occurred with 4:23 remaining in the third quarter of Wisconsin's 105-103 loss to the Maine Celtics on Saturday, March 2 at Oshkosh Arena.
Gabriel will serve his suspension March 9 when the Herd visit the Grand Rapids Gold at Van Andel Arena.
